Code Geass: Lelouch of the Re;surrection Film's N. American Screenings Scheduled For May
Funimation recently revealed on Friday that its screening of the Code Geass: Lelouch of the Re;surrection (Code Geass: Fukkatsu no Lelouch) sequel anime film will screen in North America on May 5 (subtitled), and on May 7-8 (dubbed). The story begins in the world two years after Zero Requiem.
CAPCOM releases more details about the Monster Hunter: World/Witcher 3 collab
CAPCOM recently posted videos and screencaps for their upcoming MHW collaberation with the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and its characters. The Geralt α full armor set will be available for crafting after beating the story campaign, along with the Sword & Shield weapon Witcher's Silver Sword. The Nekker α full armor set and Cursed Staff α will be unlocked for your Palico companion. Luckily for us broke mf's, this update is f r e e and went out with the 6.0 version of the game on Xbox and PS4 worldwide on January 26th.
Manga BEASTARS to Get Anime Adaptation
HMV recently leaked online that Paru Itagaki's shounen/drama/slice of life manga BEASTARS will be getting an anime adaptation. "The story is of a world where both carnivores and herbivores co-exist. Legoshi, a member of the drama club at Cherryton Academy, is a wolf, hoever, he's very delicate. The story is of this wolf boy and many other animals going through their youth." Via: Honeys anime
Origin by legendary Boichi reaches final chapter
This year's 10th issue of Kodansha's Weekly Young Magazineannounced on Monday that Boichi's Origin manga will end in the next issue on Saturday. The story takes place in 2048, in a highly industrialized and technologically advanced Japan. The story follows a robot named Origin who must traverse his dangerous environment as well as find reason and meaning in emotions and motives that he, as a robot, cannot fully experience. Boichi launched the manga in Young Magazine in September 2016. Kodansha will publish the ninth volume on Wednesday.
Vinland Saga New Promo!
Vinland Saga is set to stream on Amazon Prime upon release. Shuhei Yabuta is directing the anime at Wit Studio; Hiroshi Seko is supervising the scripts. Kodansha describes the story as follows: “Thorfinn is son to one of the Vikings’ greatest warriors, but when his father is killed in battle by the mercenary leader Askeladd, he swears to have his revenge. Thorfinn joins Askeladd’s band in order to challenge him to a duel, and ends up caught in the middle of a war for the crown of England.
